Rosa Romance is not a vanity or subsidy publisher. We are an imprint of Sub Rosa Books, which is a division of a 25-year-old motion picture and television production company.

At this time, we're open for submissions but only of completed manuscripts. While we do accept simultaneous submissions, please be polite and tell us if the work is currently under consideration with another publishing company.

Rosa Romance publishes great writing which happens to include terrific, very hot sex.  Sometimes the genre is called "romantica" (^TM Ellora's Cave) but we're creating our own Romance Novel sub-genre -- Hollywood Romance^TM.

This is a company started and run by strong women who believe that a woman's sensuality is a normal and natural part of life, and that women can do anything men can do and, for the most part, do it better. Your manuscript should reflect those beliefs.

We are actively looking for writers whose "day job" is or has been in the Entertainment Industry; films & TV (both above and below the line), music, book publishing, magazines, and the world of PR, or any job or area of expertise related to the Media. We will also look at manuscripts outside of those genres (like sci fi/paranormal, historical romance, etc.) but our focus is "behind the scenes" written by people who have been there, done that.

DO NOT SEND MANUSCRIPTS OR ANY WRITING OR QUERY LETTERS TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS.  FOR LEGAL REASONS, THEY WILL BE TRASHED UNOPENED. 

Only #10 envelopes addressed exactly as stated above will be opened by us.  All other contact with us must be done electronically through our HelpDesk. We're sorry to sound like such paranoid assholes but our parent company is in the film business and we've been through the "you stole my idea and made it into a hit movie" nuisance lawsuits that all hit movies get. The funny part is that we've yet to hear an idea worth stealing. If it's good, it's easier to buy it from the writer than it is to start from scratch. :-)

Anyway, please allow at least a month from mailing for a response. When we receive your signed Registration Form, you will be assigned an "Author Number" which we will email to you along with our submissions email address and full details on how to electronically submit your manuscript(s) to us. That one Author Number, and the one Registration Form, will cover all submissions you ever make to Rosa Romance.
